Consent to Use of Photographic and Video Images

At this event, photos and videos will be recorded. By attending this event you may be included in these photos and events videos. Your attendance at this event grants your permission to be captured in these photos or videos which can be used by The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) for educational or promotional purposes.

Onsite Scanning

Signing up for registration gives your consent to participate in onsite scanning. Onsite scanning is being used for the reasons outlined below:
-To confirm that registrants requesting entrance to sessions and plenaries have purchased the registration packages containing those events.
-To determine which session formats and topics are of most interest to participants.
-Session scanning and RFID technology have become standard in the conference industry. NSBE has employed technology that is being used at meetings across the country.

Covid-19 Policy

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) has taken health and safety measures for attendees and staff attending the NSBE 2026 Annual Convention. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. I acknowledge that participation at NSBE 2026 Annual Convention brings some risk, and I hereby assume responsibility for my well-being. I will follow all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance and all posted instructions while attending NSBE events and activities.

I understand, agree, and hereby consent that my failure or disregard for following all protocols in effect and required by NSBE, CDC, the venue provider, and state and local law during my attendance at the convention is hereby sufficient grounds to be excluded from attending the event by NSBE or an event authority, and I hereby consent in advance to leave and exit the event, without protest or refund, upon request by NSBE or an event authority due to my refusal to follow said protocols.
